Public Perception and Attitude toward Community Pharmacists in Saudi Arabia

<b><i>Background:</i></b> The Saudi healthcare system is undergoing a major transformation, and pharmacists will assume more responsibilities in providing services. current study aims to determine the perception attitude of public toward pharmacists, as well satisfaction with pharmacists’ practices services community pharmacy setting. <b><i>Methods:</i></b> A cross-sectional, online questionnaire-based was conducted between February April 2019 included adult participants (?18 years) who could read complete an Arabic survey. ?<sup>2</sup> correlation tests were used investigate differences based on population demographics characteristics assess association attitude. Statistical analysis using SAS software, version 9.4. <b><i>Results:</i></b> total 387 completed overall public’s positive population, scoring 81.4% for 69.8% attitude, female having favorable than male (89.3 vs. 77.7%, <i>p</i> < 0.01). strong recognized (<i>r</i> = 0.71, found be mostly satisfied commitment communication skills, but not, however, level pharmaceutical care provided. <b><i>Conclusion:</i></b> among create opportunity expanded roles providers.
